climbing out of Couvin up a heavy arterial road, then coming into the wooded lanes of the Ardennes, I came across this wayside 

statue of Mary. That was the last picture I was to take. The camera stuck up a message, internal memory full, which I could not

understand, as it was supposed to take 420 pics, guaranteed. I found out when I got back that I had been confused by something

called a 'memory stick' and after puzzling over it had put it aside, not noticing the 1gb memory card alongside it, and so failed to 

install it. How stupid can you get. However, as I say in the text, the pictures in your head are better, and it saved me continually

having to drag the camera out - lame excuse.
